So, how did you get into the industry, and take us through how you got to this point?
In university, I attended inspiring “Town and Gown” events where industry experts shared the latest trends and real-world insights. One presentation particularly sparked my interest when my current CEO was a guest speaker. His words ignited a pivotal “light bulb moment” that shaped my thesis on Neuro-Marketing. After completing my program, I was compelled to join the company.
Why should anyone consider a career in market research, data and insights?
I find market research and insight thrilling because it reveals the motivations behind consumer behaviours.
This field offers the unique opportunity to:
- Explore diverse industries and sectors
- Collaborate with iconic brands globally
- Travel to new destinations, immersing myself in vibrant cultures
- It’s a dynamic, culturally rich, and constantly evolving field that keeps me engaged and curious!
Career paths are rarely without challenges. Can you share an honest moment from your career when things didn’t go quite according to plan, but the lessons remain with you to this day?
I once had a group session scheduled out of state, but a morning flight rescheduling to evening caught me off guard, impacting our project timeline. This experience taught me a valuable lesson: anticipate potential setbacks and plan accordingly, considering the worst-case scenario.
What two things should junior researchers focus on as they progress in their careers?

As marketing students, we’re enthusiastic about advertising and PR, but the market research industry remains unsung. Despite its pivotal role, many still don’t grasp its significance.
We must loudly proclaim:
